Giving back to society | | | Amit Thakral (VP-Business Development) gave a talk on “Careers in IT” at a career fair held on the 22 – 23 June 2007 in Hyderabad. The fair was organized as part of an initiative “Mitr – Your friend” started by a group of BITS Pilani alumni. Mitr – your friend provides a process for students - to clarify thinking, to identify what the students should know, and to set goals for further education. The talk was focused at 10+2 students looking forward to a career in the IT industry with plenty of advice on how the youngsters can channelize their skills and expertise in the subjects of their choice. IndiaSoft January 9-10, 2007 | | | PennyWise Solutions part of the exhibitors at Indiasoft 2007
INDIASOFT 2007 is a premier International IT Exhibition & Conference organised by Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC). The conference highlighted the importance of SMEs as the carrier for conceptual and quality innovation. Indiasoft 2007 had over 150 delegates from 40 countries. PennyWise Solutions was at Indiasoft 2007 as part of the exhibiting companies. PennyWise Solutions generated a fair amount of interest among the visiting delegates and the exhibitors. In turn, it was a great learning experience about countries and markets that have still not opened up to India as their outsourcing partners.
