The Problem
- Replace their 9 disparate legacy websites that were targeted at different markets with a single unified eCommerce platform
- The retailer wanted to give customers the best possible brand and online shopping experience
The Solution
- Deployed a multi-store, multi-language portal on Magento Commerce Cloud catering to Japan, UK, USA, France, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. A separate China specific store was also developed and deployed within China firewall
- Custom tax and logistics components created to manage market specific tax and shipping requirements
- Leveraged the Magento page builder with a custom theme and enabled the marketing teams to save time and resources when adding future pages
